自製雙倍抗皺 Q10 水凝霜 | DIY Double Anti-Aging Q10 Gel Cream
If you prefer something a little simpler, I have an Eazy Moisturizing Aloe Vera Gel Cream which uses readily made aloe vera gel to form a gel cream.
Ever since I first whipped up this Q10 gel cream, I’ve been making a tub almost every month. For the past few years, I’ve been my mom’s sole skincare supplier, while my dad drenches himself in creams from La Mer, Sisley, Guerlain and other expensive products that cost a leg or an arm. His skincare routine is a lot simpler than us ladies, using just plain water to cleanse and these insanely priced creams to moisturize. However, after he’s tried this Q10 gel cream, he’s stopped purchasing all the other expensive options. My parents even push to indulge my younger brother with this precious Q10 custard. I now feel like a hard working drug lord supplying to my two mega addicts. I’d make my brother the easy version with aloe vera to cut off the workload, reserving the good stuff for us seasoned skin.
I’m able to add more active ingredients in this recipe and even double the Q10 using both water and oil soluble forms. Niacinamide is my go to skincare ingredient and allantoin’s skin softening abilities making both of them My Top 5 Active Skincare Ingredients.
I use warm water of between 60~80°C to dissolve allantoin. Once I mix all the active ingredients along with propanediol to form a solution, I add Aristoflex to create a gel. This step should work your arm a little for about 5 minutes or so. In a separate beaker, I melt Olivem 1000 along with squalane, my preferred skincare oil. You can of course try any other oil. I then pour in my oil soluble Q10. You don’t have to use different types of Q10 of course, but you would have to adjust the amount of oil added if you choose to swap either the water or the oil soluble Q10. I then pour the oil solution into the water gel, and voila a wonderful gliding gel cream with pale citrus color.
I don’t recommend swapping out Olivem 1000 in these gel cream recipes, as I’ve tried other emulsifiers. Most of them require ingredients like stearic acid and cetearyl alcohol to stabilize and maintain form. Olivem 1000 on the other hand has worked and remained like a good o’ trusting long term friend.

水溶性Q10輔梅粉 Coenzyem Q10 powder (water soluble) 1ml | ¼ 茶匙
AVC 凝膠粉 Aristoflex (Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer) 5ml | 1 tsp 茶匙
Oil Phase
油溶性Q10輔梅 Coenzyem Q10 (oil soluble) 15ml | 1 tbsp 湯匙
角鯊烷 Squalane 15ml | 1 tbsp 湯匙
橄欖乳化劑1000型 Olivem 1000 5ml | 1 tsp 茶匙
Essential oil 精油 15~20 drops 滴
Broad Spectrum Preservatives 複方抗菌劑 2ml | ½ 茶匙
